Our one-year Business Management programme offers a unique opportunity to get involved with a variety of real-world business projects, helping you develop the skills and knowledge you need to thrive in a dynamic, evolving organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

Depending on your placement, you’ll work alongside our Customer, Strategy and Communications teams on a variety of exciting projects and activities, which could be related to:

  • Strategic Customer Projects
  • Business Performance
  • Compliance, governance and assurance

You’ll gain valuable insight into how a large public organisation functions, whilst supporting projects that will deliver our strategic business aims and meet the needs of our customers to the best of our ability.

What we are looking for

If you have the passion and dedication to succeed, you’ll be a great match for our programme. To be successful, you’ll have:

  • An enthusiastic, collaborative approach to working with others
  • The ability to communicate in different formats with a variety of stakeholders
  • Excellent co-ordination skills
  • The ability to plan and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines
  • A focus on quality and integrity in everything you do
  • Currently in your second year of an undergraduate degree and expect to achieve a minimum of a 2:2 in any subject
  • To be eligible for a placement, you must be available to attend the 2-day induction, 30th June – 1st July.

Due to the salary level of this role, we cannot offer sponsorship for the position for individuals that don't have the Right to Work in the UK. Successful candidates will require Right to Work for the duration of the programme.
