What You’ll Be Doing

As part of a specialist team supporting the work of the Chief Data Office, you’ll make sure we make data available to the organisation. You’ll help deliver our corporate-wide vision and strategy for managing our data assets and play a vital role in ensuring our data is trustworthy, kept safely and stored legally. You’ll gain experience working in our business team – working with our data firsthand.

You’ll also have opportunities to get inside exciting projects and explore our Digital Lab, where we develop and roll out new data science and digital solutions that innovate and get value from our data.

What we are looking for

If you have the passion and dedication to succeed, you’ll be a great match for our programme. To be successful, you’ll have:

  • An enthusiastic, collaborative approach to working with others
  • The ability to communicate in different formats with a variety of stakeholders
  • Excellent co-ordination skills
  • The ability to plan and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines
  • A focus on quality and integrity in everything you do
  • An undergraduate (e.g. BA, BSc) degree at 2:2 or above in any discipline – your interest in working with data, solving problems and continuous learning are key requirements.
  • To be eligible for a place on the programme, you must be available to attend the 4-day induction, 8 -11 September

Due to the salary level of this role, we cannot offer sponsorship for the position for individuals that don't have the Right to Work in the UK. Successful candidates will require Right to Work for the duration of the programme.
