Course content

The MSc Civil Engineering Management course is designed to meet the professional body requirements and is delivered by professionals with extensive research and industrial experience in sustainable construction materials, sustainable transport, integrated transport systems, environmental management, structural performance and urban pollution.

Broadly the course will:

  • Broaden knowledge in civil engineering management practices and their limitations
  • Develop critical analysis skills for management and business practices in civil engineering
  • Engage in individual research and group-based activities tackling industry-relevant challenges
  • Focus on innovative and creative solutions considering wider implications of engineering activities
  • Gain insights into risk analysis and other crucial aspects of civil engineering management
