Technical Programme Manager Intern

Job description

A Technical Programme Manager collaborates with all teams, creates plans, manages technical risks, communicates with partners and coordinates technical aspects of projects.

There’ll be lots of opportunities to get stuck in. From managing plans and working collaboratively with colleagues across the globe, right through to real projects, where you’ll be supported with training to develop your programme skills.

During your 10-week paid summer programme, you could be planning the rollout of our new checkouts to 2000+ stores, co-ordinating the development of a new payroll system or working on the development of brand-new mobile apps for our customers. Technology continues to change the face of retail and ours leads the way.

You'll be at the heart of our decision making, planning and co-ordinating the development and/or deployment of technology solutions in a safe and sustainable way. You'll work collaboratively with multiple teams across the business to find the best solutions for our customers, including communicating, planning and delivering them effectively. You'll ensure our solutions align to strategic goals, manage risks, create plans and track progress, working with software engineers and partners.

A successful internship with us can guarantee your place on our Technology Programme graduate programme when you graduate - before you’ve even started your final year of study.

Programme start date – June 2025.
