Retail Internship

Job description

Serving millions of customers a week in our stores, our internship roles aren’t just about having a passion for our products and supporting a team to deliver complex tasks! It’s about understanding what matters for our customers and communities to put them at the heart of everything we do.

During your paid 10-week programme, you’ll be spending time in our small and large stores getting to know our different departments, learning our routines and processes, and getting hands on experience to understand how we run our stores. Plus, you’ll have a buddy on hand to support you all the way.

You’ll be supported through your programme with a variety of learning that will build your skills and develop your knowledge. It will be a mix of leadership training, networking and time with our Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) networks and leadership team.

A successful internship with us can guarantee your place on our Retail Graduate Programme when you graduate - before you’ve even started your final year of study.

Programme start date: June 2025.

Everyone’s welcome

To us, inclusivity means everyone’s voice is heard and you feel comfortable bringing every part of yourself to work. We celebrate and value everything that makes you, you. We make sure that all colleagues have equal access to opportunities. We’re a big business with diverse working patterns and lots of business areas. So, we can find something that works for you.

What we are looking for

We’re looking for people who love a challenge, can think on their feet and have a passion for retail. We’re looking for our future leaders, who are committed to building the skills and business understanding to co-pilot the business to deliver value for customers, colleagues, and shareholders.

We’re looking for individuals that are curious in their thinking and brave in their application, whilst operating with a 20/80 mindset. We’re a people business where believing in each other underpins our success.
