Job description

Are you at university and thinking about your next steps? Or have you recently graduated and are exploring your career options? If you answered yes, then take a look at our Audit Graduate Programme and learn how we help to protect the reputation of businesses around the globe as you work towards becoming a Chartered Accountant.

Get to know yourself through an EY Audit Graduate Programme
It’s okay to not know everything when it comes to your career, as it’s only just beginning. We’re here to support you! Our graduate programmes enable you to shape your future with confidence. From bots that do number crunching, sustainability projects that positively impact people and the planet, or transforming through technology, we have opportunities to match your passion and strengths.

Supercharge your career through our Audit Graduate Programme
You’ll gain practical experience in the Audit space through impactful projects, empowering you to shape your future with confidence.

Our purpose in Audit is to support the long-term sustainability of businesses, to bring trust and confidence to society and the financial markets. Working in teams we analyse data, consider sustainability metrics and test business controls to determine whether financial statements are accurate.

What your career will look like
This is a three-year paid graduate programme in which you’ll learn to help companies and governments publish accurate financial accounts others can rely on — all while developing your skills through hands-on work and study.

By the end of the programme, you’ll gain a chartered accountancy qualification with ICAS or ICAEW and be ready to embark on a fast-moving, high-potential career.

As an Audit Graduate, you will:

  • Make an impact from your very first day with us as you start to develop the skills you need to grow in your career
  • Get to know our clients’ businesses by learning how they work
  • Test business controls to make sure they work as they should
  • Carry out independent assessments of financial information to make sure financial statements are true and fair
  • Work from client site, in your local office, and from home

You'll be in a supportive team and will receive regular coaching and mentoring. You'll be learning on-the-job and will be given access to regular training opportunities. Plus, your experience doesn't stop once you've completed the programme - we'll continue to give you opportunities to progress within EY. Before you know it, you’ll be working coaching other graduates and apprentices, getting a team together, spotting strategic opportunities and building the foundations for a career in business.
