MBA (Conversion)

Entry requirements

UK/EU students will be able to enter the programme directly in accordance with University entry requirements for MBA programmes (a first degree achieved at Class 2:2 or above from an approved university or institution) or possess an equivalent qualification. In addition, you must have:

• 3 years work experience preferably with some in a leadership or managerial role
• MA or MSc in cognate business and/or management discipline

Course content

The York St John University MBA aims to recruit a diverse range of students who share a passion for Business Management. Students looking to apply for this course will already hold an MA or MSc in cognate business and/or a management discipline. As a student on this programme you will be studying alongside others who wish to move into or further develop their careers in Business Management, from both EU/UK and other countries around the world. The programme will allow you to reflect on your already-acquired knowledge and experience of the world of work, putting theory into practice in a continuing professional development environment.

Information for international students

International students will need to demonstrate that they have equivalent experience /qualifications as home students (ie same entry criteria as above). If their first language is not English they must show evidence of English Language competence at IELTS level 6.0 (in all areas of the test) or equivalent.
