Course content
As healthcare becomes ever more complex, there is a recognised need for evidence-based education. Health regulators require those entrusted with the planning and delivery of clinical education to be familiar with the latest research on effective teaching and learning strategies.
It is no longer enough for clinicians to understand their specialist area. To effectively engage the next generation of clinicians, they need to be able to apply accepted principles of adult learning, curriculum design, assessment, and educational research.
The University of Warwick PG Certificate, PG Diploma and Masters in Medical Education for Healthcare Professionals awards are designed as an international, interprofessional programme for clinicians across the globe who wish to work with leading experts to enhance their roles as clinical or academic educators.
