About University of Warwick
We are a world-leading campus university, renowned for our excellent teaching and world-class research. We are ranked 64th in the QS World University Guide 2023 and listed within the top ten UK universities in all three major national league tables. However, we are so much more than our rankings. We provide a platform for the curious; we inspire, we excite, and we invigorate. Our students are our priority and at Warwick, they are challenged, supported, and guided by some of the world's finest minds.
You’ll be part of our energetic campus community, here to welcome and give you the space to challenge yourself – personally, professionally, and academically. Whether you want to aim for a successful career after study or take your existing career to new heights, we are eager to support you.
Teaching and learning
At Warwick, teaching is at the heart of everything we do. We challenge and inspire our students to think critically and innovatively, helping you to develop your independent learning alongside structured teaching. You’ll develop a range of transferable skills such as oral communication and project organisation, that will aid you in your future career, whether academic or industrial.
We are at the forefront of interdisciplinary research and encourage unbounded learning, enabling you to reach your full potential. The Times and Sunday Times named us University of the Year for Teaching Quality 2022, an accolade that attests to the dedication and inspiration of our teaching staff.
Research
At Warwick, we focus on breaking new ground every day. We are committed to research that is internationally leading, impactful, and provocative. It will change the world, making lives healthier, safer, more resilient, more just, and more fulfilled. An example of this is our global research priorities. These respond to complex global challenges in areas such as cyber security, food, and energy by using interdisciplinary thinking to develop real-world solutions. You can take your own research in any direction with our PGR studies.
