Entry requirements
You’re normally expected to have an upper second-class (2.1) undergraduate honours degree or above.
Your qualification should be in a subject relevant to your chosen area of research. You may also be considered for the degree if you have other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing.

Course content
We aim to understand the nervous system and various neurological disorders.
You’ll be guided and supervised through your research project by experts in fields such as:
- the senses
- synaptic physiology
- the molecular and cellular mechanisms of learning and memory.
You’ll be based in the newly refurbished Neuroscience Centre, using a range of techniques from molecular biology to electrophysiology and multiphoton microscopy.
