Course content

This MSc Physiotherapy provides opportunities for qualified physiotherapists, whether trained in the UK or internationally, to further develop their knowledge, skills, and expertise. For internationally trained physiotherapists, the programme supports the transference of knowledge and skills to different healthcare contexts within a global employment market, including UK practice.

For physiotherapists already registered and practising in the UK, you have the option to choose between two routes. In the first year, you can either select the two enhanced practice modules or follow an alternative master's route.

The programme will help you identify, evaluate, and map your knowledge, skills, and behaviours, and align portfolio evidence with relevant professional standards. As a graduate, you will be prepared for roles as physiotherapists in a variety of health and social care settings.

Information for international students

Students whose first language is not English will be required to demonstrate proficiency in English – IELTS – a minimum overall score of 6.0 with 5.5 in any component.
