International Hospitality Management
Entry requirements
- Recognized bachelor’s degree (minimum 2.2), with honors in Hospitality/Events Management, or five years of work experience at managerial/supervisory level in the industry, plus admission interview
- Postgraduate diploma from Swiss Hotel Management School, or
- English language proficiency of IELTS academic module 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 60 or equivalent.

Course content
This course is for students who want to top up their bachelor’s in hospitality with a master’s degree, or established professionals in middle-management positions without a formal degree who want to take their career to the next level.
Modules encompass contemporary classes such as project management, sustainable value creation, or AI, with focuses on management and leadership, Hospitality Management, Digital Value Creation and Design Management.
Graduates receive two awards:
Master in International Hospitality Management from Swiss Hotel Management School
Master of Science in International Hospitality Management from the University of Derby
Total Duration: 1 year. Campus location: Leysin; Intakes: September, February
Semester 1: 4 weeks (on-campus)

Information for international students
English language proficiency of IELTS academic module 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 60 or equivalent. If you don't meet the required english level, you can improve your language and study skills with our English Foundation Program Please note that if you require a visa, Swiss authorities need to be provided with a valid TOEFL or IELTS score (not older than one year).
Fees and funding
Scholarships which cover up to 30% of the total tuition fees are available, subject to approval.
