Entry requirements
- Recognised Bachelor's Degree (minimum 2:2) in any discipline or five years of work experience at managerial/ supervisory level in the hospitality industry, plus admissions interview
- English language proficiency of IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 60 or equivalent
- Recommended minimum age of 21 years

Course content
SHMS is currently ranked No.2 on the QS leagaue table for Hospitatliy and Leisure, with campuses surrounding spectacular landscapes.
Graduates from this Master of Arts in International Hospitality Business Management programme and the required internship will be able to accelerate their business acumen by applying their newly acquired skills managing the highly growing business of hotel operations.
Their study journey will take them through learning the theory and applying the practical domain of the essential building blocks within the world of hotel management. From Food & Beverage, Front Office and Rooms Division to Events & Banqueting, the multifaceted nature of the hospitality industry is covered.
There are three specializations in semester 2 which allows students to focus on their interested areas and develop more relevant skills, the options are: Hotel Management, Luxury Brand Management and Event Management.
The capstone module directs students to draw on all their areas of study throughout the programme, as they bring together their newly acquired skills and competences when they present their final applied management project for launching their own hotel.

The professional internship is intended to provide a learning opportunity for students to apply their knowledge to the real-life workplace, and make their profile employable.
