A 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in engineering, a maritime-related subject, economics or business. You will also be considered on an individual basis if you have non-standard qualifications and/or relevant practical experience.

Course content
Our MSc in Shipping and Logistics is for both practising professionals and new graduates. You'll come from any discipline, usually (but not exclusively) including:
- engineering
- law
- business
- economics
- geography
- IT
- navigation.
We often welcome former seafarers looking to transition ashore. Providing that their ticket is equal to the degree entry qualification requirement.
Our aim is to prepare you for successful entry into the global shipping and logistics industry. You'll learn about the industry and its current issues. This will enable you to successfully demonstrate your ability as a potential employee in the sector.
Information for international students
English Language requirements: Direct Entry : IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in all sub-skills). If you have lower English Language scores, you may be accepted onto a Pre-sessional English Language course.
