What are we going to teach you?

You’ll get to explore the origins and history of UX design and human-computer interaction (HCI). You’ll differentiate between good and bad UX design, understand various UX career paths and grasp the user-centered design (UCD) process. You will also develop skills in lean UX, design thinking, user research and usability testing. You’ll conduct usability tests, create empathy tools, measure UX impact using key performance indicators (KPIs) and align business and user goals.

Additionally, you’ll create epics, user stories and user flows, produce wireframes, understand usability heuristics and responsive web design, and explain common UI patterns and accessibility legislation. The course culminates in the creation of a 1 to 3-page website, applying the user design process, testing techniques and reflective decision-making.
