The Graduate Diploma in Marketing is to give people who already have a degree or extensive business experience an opportunity to extend their knowledge into another specialised field without having to complete another degree. This programme is ideal for you if you are seeking promotion in your existing employment, wish to widen your skill and knowledge base and keep ahead in the knowledge game or if you are considering a career change, including self-employment.

Graduates with a Marketing major will be able to apply basic marketing concepts to complex real-world scenarios such as formulating marketing plans, conceptualising and evaluating promotion campaigns and making reasoned trade-offs between objectives and budgets and to innovate and manage change via a strong grounding in the realities of social, economic, and technological change processes, the underlying dynamics of consumer and industrial buyer, contemporary marketing research practice, and organisational behavioural principles.

You will also be able to solve problems, both independently and as part of a team and be able to collect, critically review and communicate information effectively in both written and oral form to a wide variety of audiences, including other marketing experts.

Information for international students

If English is not the applicant's first language they must provide evidence of IELT 6.0 Academic with at least 5.5 in each band, issued within the last two years or equivalent.
