If you’re in the penultimate year of your degree and looking ahead to a career in Engineering, our Engineering Industrial Placement will get you off to a great start before you’ve even finished your studies. It’ll help you develop the skills you need to thrive at the biggest food and drinks manufacturer in the world, as well as build a diverse network of experienced engineers. You will have lots of questions and your team will work with you to build your knowledge and contribute to solutions to real problems!
What can you expect?
Based at one of our factories or the Nestlé Product Technology Centre (NPTC), you’ll gain wide-ranging experience of life as an engineer here at Nestlé. You’ll work with our experts who will nurture your professional development and support you as you contribute to live projects and assist with problem-solving. It’s an immersive learning experience that will see you working with some of the world’s biggest brands and most advanced equipment.

What we are looking for
- You will need to have the right to work in the UK that is not time limited and does not require sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route either at the start of the scheme or upon completion.
- In your penultimate year of study in a relevant degree.
- Undertaking a degree which allows you to work for a year out in industry as a placement year.
- An undergraduate student at a UK (United Kingdom) or ROI (Republic of Ireland) University for the duration of your employment.
