Job description
This internship is designed for students in their final year of their undergraduate degree, or first year of a 2-year masters. It runs for 8 weeks over the summer before you start your masters, or go into your final year of your masters.
How could you develop?
We’ll assign you to a team where you will work on a specific project, working closely with economists or analysts to collect and analyse data.
You’ll learn more about our role in the economy and gain ‘on-the-job’ skills. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn more by attending talks and networking events.
When you apply we’ll ask if you have any specific areas of interest. Please note this is just an expression of interest, you are not applying to a specific area.
If you’re successful, you could be allocated to one of the following areas:
- Monetary Analysis

- Financial Market Infrastructure

- Prudential Policy
If your performance is outstanding, we may consider you for a place on our Graduate programme.
