The Programme

Join one of our Business Support Functions internship programmes, and you’ll kick-start a global career with incredible opportunities for lifelong learning, development and support. Our Business Support Functions teams cover every part of running our business – from managing risk, to deciding how we use our voice globally to support environmental and social opportunities. You might work with tech to automate our processes and drive growth, or your work could be focused on helping you and your colleagues comply with laws, regulations, ethical standards and internal policies.

What's in it for you

  • Input into real world work from day one
  • A mentorship and buddy programme so you are fully supported during your time with us
  • The chance to experience the bank’s culture, including access to employee networks, culture and arts and volunteering opportunities
  • The chance to progress on to a graduate programme

What we are looking for

  • You’re keen to take on responsibility from day one
  • You’re a forward-thinker, who might already have ideas of how we could lead change in our business and workplace culture
  • You’re eager to grow your career and skills through our training and development opportunities
  • You’re a great communicator, excited to work in teams that span the EMEA and the US
  • Applications are accepted from a diverse range of degree disciplines such as the arts and humanities, as well as numerically focused subjects such as economics and mathematics
  • Candidates are required to be pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from an accredited college or university. Academic semester and all studies should be complete, with a graduation timeframe between September 2025 and June 2026.
  • Achieved minimum of 112 UCAS point (or equivalent) and on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent)
