Apply your digital design skills and theoretical expertise to explore the challenges of social media in diverse industry contexts.

At York, our Digital Design with Social Media (MSc) course teaches you key skills and theoretical expertise in diverse industry contexts. You'll develop creative user experience solutions while critically examining the social dynamics and challenges of digital and social media within these different settings.
You'll gain practical digital design experience in our bespoke multimedia complex - including screen-based interactive prototyping tools, graphic design, creative AI and 3D-modelling - and develop your understanding of theoretical and research approaches.
Graduate with theoretical and practical skills in digital and interactive design. You'll develop team working, project management and communication skills. Build your portfolio by collaborating with external partners including creative agencies, charities, policymakers, and research institutes.
Enhance your employability through masterclasses with industry professionals. You'll be well-equipped to embark on careers in user experience, product development, research, creative arts and design across a variety of sectors.
