Entry requirements

Hold an appropriate undergraduate degree, or, have at least 60 level-6 credits or a non-honours degree awarded in the last 5 years.*

Be registered with an appropriate professional healthcare body in the UK (for example, HCPC, NMC, RCOT, GPC, Social Work England).

At least 3 years of post-registration experience.

Be working at least 15 hours a week in a clinical setting

Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance

Occupational Health clearance

Applicants will be required to complete and return an application in line with the University’s post graduate application process. This form collects the additional information to enable review by the module leader (or nominated member of the academic team) to ensure eligibility criteria are met, that the applicant has the support of their employer and funding agreed.

Applicants will also confirm acceptance of the University of Winchester terms and conditions on this form. Once these checks have been completed, applicants will be informed that they have secured a place on the module.

*If an applicant doesn't meet these requirements, they will be expected to demonstrate their ability to study at this level by completing an appropriate level-7 module before enrolment.
