Psychology of Health and Illness
Entry requirements
You must hold an upper second or first-class award at undergraduate level in an allied-health science degree. Students who do not meet the upper second award requirement may be considered under one of the following conditions:
- They can demonstrate evidence of practical experience in an area relevant to the psychology of health and illness
- They have attained an additional qualification which is relevant to the psychology of health and illness
- They can show evidence of attainments during their undergraduate degree which indicates strengths in psychology of health and illness.

Course content
During this course, you will be provided with a grounding in the theory, themes, professional issues and practical skills central to the psychology of health and illness.
The course aims to enable you to make informed judgements on complex health issues across diverse areas, and to communicate ideas and proposals effectively to diverse audiences.
