Course content
This one-year master's degree (180 points) provides a transformative business education that will take your career to new heights, and help you become aware of your own abilities as a future business leader.
The Waikato MBM will give you a comprehensive understanding of the global business environment. It will also prepare you to take on a wide range of management and leadership roles in any industry.
This taught master's programme is designed for graduates of any bachelor's degree – from arts and engineering to teaching and social sciences – who wish to expand their career prospects and increase their earning potential. Previous business experience is not required.
Over 12 months (or longer if you study part-time), you'll hone your skills in all aspects of business and management: planning for strategic growth, marketing, digital business, economics, financial analysis, managing people in organisations, global business, supply chain management, design thinking and innovation, and sustainable and responsible management.
Learn how to carry out applied business research, analyse data and issues, question ideas and findings, and apply different approaches to solve business and management problems.
MBM graduates are smart business professionals with strong communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills. You will develop the confidence to lead teams, collaborate with others, and manage organisational change.
