Entry requirements
Primary degree in a suitable discipline with first or second-class honours or an approved equivalent qualification. Or an equivalent capability based on prior professional experience. A performance audition and interview will be required in all classes. Additional audio, visual or written material may be required.

Course content
The programme offers a comprehensive grounding in the skills and knowledge needed to function as a successful community musician in a range of contexts. The course is aimed at musicians who want to extend or develop the abilities needed to facilitate the expressive work of others and work effectively with a wide range of people in diverse settings. Students attain practical perspectives and hands-on experiences in the emerging field of Community Music in conjunction with developing the skills required to realise projects from their inception to their final execution.
