Course content

We are a vibrant research community with a passion for understanding the physical and chemical processes that occur in functional interfaces. Surfaces and their relationship with the environment often dictate how an engineering system performs. We recognise that processes at the nanoscale can affect performance through to the macro scale.

Our research activity is conducted in but not limited to the following areas:

Tribology

Surface engineering

Corrosion and flow assurance

Information for international students

If English is not your first language, you must provide evidence that you meet the University's minimum English language requirements.

The University’s Language Centre offers the Academic English for Postgraduate Studies pre-sessional course, which teaches the necessary language and academic study skills required for a research degree programme.
