Course content
This PGCert programme is designed to prepare you for a career as a practice assessor in accordance with the standards published by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
It is aimed at nurses who hold Specialist Practitioner Qualifications (SPQ) and Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) qualifications, who fulfil NMC requirements and have normally completed a mentor programme to extend their role to assess and sign off practice students.
The Postgraduate Certificate can be the first step towards a Postgraduate Diploma or an MSc in Health Studies.

If you require a student visa to study or if your first language is not English you must provide acceptable evidence of your English language proficiency level.
This course requires academic IELTS 6.5 overall, with no less than 5.5 in each skill. See other accepted English language proficiency qualifications.
