- The course is aligned with the NHS England ‘Career pathway, core capabilities and education framework for palliative and end of life care’.
- It has been developed in partnership with specialist palliative care services across Calderdale and Kirklees.
- Learning will be focussed upon enhancing your knowledge, behaviours and capabilities required to drive high quality care for people with palliative and end of life care needs, whilst also encompassing the care and support of communities, families and carers in a variety of health and social care settings.
Throughout your studies, emphasis will be placed on person-centred, holistic assessment and the development of muti-professional, multi-agency care and management plans from which optimum and evidence-based palliative and end of life care can be provided.
