Entry requirements
Entry requirements for this course are normally:
- An Honours degree (2:2 or above) in any subject.
- Other experience or qualifications that demonstrate appropriate knowledge and skills at graduate level may be acceptable. Suitability for acceptance onto the course will be assessed through interview.
If your first language is not English, you will need to meet the minimum requirements of an English Language qualification. The minimum for IELTS is 6.0 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in writing and no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent. Course content
The LLM in International Corporate and Commercial Law is a specialist course that is aimed at graduates from a law or non-law academic background. Delivered by a team of scholars with expertise in corporate and commercial law, this course gives you the opportunity to develop your analytical and problem-solving skills in matters relating to the regulation of multinational corporations and international commercial transactions.
The course content is informed by a problem-solving approach to learning the legal rules which apply to transnational corporations and international commerce. Rapid developments in technology continue to impact cross-border corporate governance and commercial activities, from the growth of big tech multinational enterprises to e-commerce, blockchain contracting and trade in digital goods. These developments call for a coordinated global approach to regulation and this LLM will help prepare you to enter the world of international corporate and commercial management.
