Course content
Our conversion degree is an excellent fast-track route for those with appropriate qualifications but without an undergraduate degree in psychology.
Our course is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) as conferring eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC). It is the first step in becoming a chartered psychologist, which is a requirement for professional careers in psychology such as clinical psychology, educational psychology and forensic psychology. All professional career paths to become a psychologist require additional Masters or Doctoral Level study and supervised workplace practice after the MSc Psychology Conversion degree.
This programme is for you if you have a BSc degree in another subject but want to become a psychologist. It provides you with Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership of the BPS in just one year. It is also suitable if you have a degree in Psychology from another country but want to take steps to become a psychologist in the UK.
