What is Intermational Business Law and Management LLM?
This course offers a critical and insightful introduction to the fascinating world of international business and commercial law together with an experience in leadership and strategic management.
The programme aims at providing you with a foundation in International Public and Private Law. It then focuses on International Commercial Law, International Trade Law, Law and Ethics in International Business and Corporate, Research Methods, Global Leadership Challenges: Entrepreneurship and Intrapreneurship, Strategic Management and any one of the following three modules, Dissertation, Work Placement or Clinical Legal Education.
This unique programme welcomes all graduates from all discipline wanting to further or acquire new practical legal, leadership, and managerial skills. It provides you with a route for progression whether in academia or in practice.
Study style
Core knowledge, understanding and skills will be acquired through scheduled learning and teaching activities, including seminars, lectures, trips, scenario-driven workshops and practice-based learning. You will be involved with practical exercises such as mock negotiation, simulated arbitration and simulated board room meetings.
Your independent learning will be supported by the effective use of the University’s virtual learning environment, Moodle, engagement with the Industry and guest lectures. This programme builds on the undergraduate degree which uses a range of learning and teaching practices and incorporates lawyer’s skills and attributes into the programme.
