Whether you are a Home/EU or Overseas applicant, the entry requirements are the same:
- Current registration with a UK regulatory body where appropriate
- Current employment in management, practice or education as appropriate
- A Masters qualification (or equivalent)
- Employment in a senior position within a health or social care organisation

Course content
Our PhD in Speech and Language Therapy offers you a unique opportunity to undertake research in a variety of health and organisational contexts.
You will be offered opportunities to access our Masters level research methods modules to provide a sound foundation of specific research knowledge and skills. In addition, you will have access to the University’s Proficio research training scheme which allows you to choose training programmes that meet the requirements of your own research topics and methodologies.
This PhD is offered on a 3 year full-time or 6 year part-time basis, plus up to a maximum of one year of completion.
