Minimum 2:2 in BEng Hons Civil Engineering or 2:1 BSc Hons Civil Engineering
Applicants with a 2:1 in related undergraduate degree programmes can be considered through an interview. These include, but are not limited to, Engineering Geology and Environmental Sustainability.

Course content
The MSc Civil Engineering with Environmental Management course is a hybrid programme bringing together subjects from the Engineering, Construction, Transportation, Logistics, Computing and Business subject areas. It provides advanced training for engineers and professionals concerned with building future cities and settlements as safe, sustainable, resilient and adaptable systems.
The course is multidisciplinary in nature and instates in students the capability of designing systems that are resilient to the extreme climates and emerging hazards; systems that have better symbiosis with natural environmental systems.

Overall IELTS 6.0 overall with minimum 6.0 in writing and speaking, and 5.5 in listening and reading(or recognised equivalent)
If you do not meet the academic English language requirements for your course, you may be eligible to enrol onto a pre-sessional English programme. The length of the course will depend on your current level of English and the requirements for your degree programme. We offer a 5-week and an 11-week pre-sessional course.
