This has resulted in a significant increase in demand for skilled data scientists with knowledge of the environmental sciences, a trend that is expected to continue.

Our cutting-edge MSc in Data Science for Environmental Science is designed to prepare you to become a highly qualified data scientist. This one-year Master’s course will equip you with proficiency in analysing environmental data, a skill applicable to a wide range of careers in both the public and private sectors, as well as in research.

You’ll receive an excellent grounding in practical and theoretical aspects of data mining, Python, and statistics, with the opportunity to tailor your degree through modules in quantitative environmental sciences and modelling. Additionally, you’ll also have the flexibility to choose the focus of your dissertation.
