Good first degree, preferably the equivalent of a UK 2:2 degree, in accounting or related discipline with significant accounting content.

Course content
This course will give you an international perspective of the theory and practice of accounting. It focuses on accounting standards and the impact of leading standard-setting authorities.
You'll investigate the links between different aspects of accounting, finance, management and strategy, for example:
- financial accounting and reporting
- financial management
- management accounting and corporate governance
- accounting and management
- management and strategy
You'll engage with contemporary debates, applying theory to real-world issues in accounting, finance, management and strategy, and explore the challenges involved in applying these theories.
You will also focus on accounting practices and our range of modules means that you can study various reporting methods, strategic accounting, and financial statements analysis.
The degree offers ACCA exemptions from papers F1-F4 (the papers have been renamed as Applied Knowledge AB, Applied Knowledge MA, Applied Knowledge FA and Applied Skills LW).
