Applicants should hold a 2:2 degree or equivalent professional experience or learning in a related field. All applications will be considered on merit and in light of the nature and scope of the programme, regardless of career stage. For International applicants IELTS 6.0 with no component score below 5.5 is required.

Course content

Our Sport Business Leadership MSc course will teach you important business skills in the context of sport. You'll learn about the nuances of sport business and learn from academics with industry experience.

Our course will develop and enhance your business management knowledge and skills. This is taught in the context of sport, by staff with sport management and consultancy experience.
Our course is intellectually and academically stimulating, but focused on the vocational needs of the sport industry. If you want to work in sports or become a better leader, this course offers you a personalised plan to reach your goals.
You'll understand the sports industry and the needs of the people in it. You will learn by doing your own research in an area that interests you. You can choose topics like marketing, events, finance, risk management, and leadership. You can also explore psychology, sociology, politics, technology, or disability studies to help with your research.
Throughout the course, you’ll have the opportunity to apply the theories you learn directly to your current practice or the field you aim to enter.
