The standard entry requirements for this course are a recognised British Honours degree to a good standard (or equivalent) and a professional qualification in a relevant healthcare discipline.

Course content

This programme is designed around the diversity of needs of the healthcare practitioner, offering students the opportunity to structure their CPD and programme around their individual needs for their learning and development alongside professional practice needs, and the needs of their workplace.

The programme offers students the opportunity to bring CPD experiences together to gain academic credit within the programme, linked to the shell structure of the programme within the key themes of Leadership; Communication; Mental Health; Public Health; Neonatal Practice, Practice Issues and Professional Issues. The award will be unique to the individual student, enabling a bespoke programme to be undertaken.

New for 2019/20 specialist modules available in: Pain Management; Diabetes; Tissue Viability; Chronic Oedema Management.
