Entry requirements
Age: 18 or over
Study level and subject: International undergraduates currently studying medicine, pre-med, health sciences, biomedical sciences, biological sciences or aligned subjects
Current academic attainment: GPA equivalent to 60–63% on the UK scale, C on the ECTS scale, or 3.0 on a 4.0 GPA scale
English language: You meet our requirements if:
- you are a native speaker; or
- your degree is taught in English; or

Course content
The Bristol Summer team invite current international undergraduate students to join our dynamic, immersive short-term summer programmes at the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom. Gain inspiration and new perspectives at a top 10 UK university, earn academic credits, and explore one of the UK's most exciting cities this summer.
Our Biomedical Sciences Lab summer programme takes place in the teaching laboratories at one of the UK's leading research institutions. In this hands-on summer school, you’ll improve practical skills by completing supervised experiments in our diverse life and health sciences labs. You'll be focusing on three main academic themes: biomedical sciences techniques, exploring the systems of the body, and clinical and scientific inquiry through small group research.
Our residential programmes include catered accommodation in a University of Bristol hall of residence, and an exciting leisure and social programme with excursions to the top sights and attractions in our city and wider region. You'll also receive support from a team of dedicated summer mentors and have full access to the University's pastoral and student services.
