Entry requirements
2:1 or above (or international equivalent) undergraduate degree. Your degree can be in any discipline but must include an appropriate level of business, management, organisation or psychology content.
We may make an offer based on a lower grade if you can provide evidence of your suitability for the degree.

Course content
Specialise in HR and learn about managing people in organisations. You’ll gain knowledge of contemporary employment issues in a changing world of work.
Develop your managerial, leadership and interpersonal skills. You’ll graduate prepared for a range of careers in human resource management.
You will learn:
- how to effectively manage human resources in a variety of organisational contexts
- practical techniques for effective people management, supported by the latest theory
- how to use HR-related data and people-focused strategies to attract and retain a healthy workforce
- the significance and complexities of managing HR in a global context

Graduate career data
We’ve made changes to this course for 2023, including renaming it from ‘MSc in Human Resource Management and Consulting’. Career destination data for the course in its current form won’t be available until 2024.
81% of our 2022 and 2023 Human Resource Management and Consulting graduates were working or had accepted a job offer within three months of completing their course.
