Exceptionally, applicants who do not possess academic qualifications at the appropriate level but have substantial relevant work experience may be considered for admittance in accordance with the Faculty’s Accreditation of Prior Learning policy.

Course content

Business development and innovation is key to business growth and economic recovery. This course provides you with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of a range of business-related disciplines, focusing on business development and innovation.

Informed by research, professional expertise and relevant practical application, you will benefit from an academically challenging and intellectually stimulating programme that educates, develops and enhances your professional competence across a number of business areas including business development, strategy, innovation, business analysis, research, and consultancy. If you have considerable existing industrial experience, it will support career progression especially for those moving from a technical discipline to a wider management role.

If you’re a more recent graduate, you will significantly enhance your business knowledge and skills with a solid grounding in a range of business disciplines and up-to-date and innovative organisational practice.

The course helps develop competencies for career change/progression whilst also providing the necessary tools to set up your own business.
