Entry requirements
The minimum requirement for entry to this programme is a second class Bachelor’s degree from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard. As the academic content on our MSc programme is demanding, we are particularly looking for applicants from relevant academic backgrounds and/or who can demonstrate substantial relevant experience as engineers, teachers of engineering and/or engineering education policy makers.
The English language level for this programme is: Level 2.

Pre-Master's and Pre-sessional EnglishUCL Pre-Master's and Pre-sessional English courses are for international students who are aiming to study for a postgraduate degree at UCL. The courses will develop your academic English and academic skills required to succeed at postgraduate level.

Course content
The MSc is designed for engineers, teachers of engineering and engineering policy makers. It aims to develop the skills and knowledge required to lead change, lead teams, enhance the performance of engineers in industry, improve the quality of engineering education in universities, and influence engineering education policy. The programme focuses on how to develop innovative strategies to improve engineering education. The programme offers the flexibility to choose between enrolling in a full Master’s programme or pursuing a postgraduate certificate/diploma, depending on the student’s professional life.
