Entry requirements
A minimum of a lower second-class UK Bachelor’s degree or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard in an Art and Design related subject.
The English language level for this programme is: Level 2.

Course content
The Art and Design PGCE is a challenging and forward-looking course. It prepares you to teach across the 11-16 age range, and to develop your knowledge and understanding of teaching the subject at A level / post 16. The course encourages you to relate art, craft and design education to contemporary art practice. It has a strong reputation for promoting innovation in education theory, practice and policy.
