The accredited Business Master's in Strategic Business Management is aimed at graduates who have an interest in developing an in-depth knowledge and a critical understanding of the key aspects of strategic business and management. In particular, those who are looking to pursue, advance or switch to a career in business management will benefit from this course.

You will develop a broad understanding of the most important concepts in management with a strategic perspective. You will apply theoretical concepts and business models to real-life case studies, in a practice based environment. The course can be studied online or on campus and full-time or part-time. This degree is ideal for those interested in a future career in business and management, including roles such as manager, consultant, analyst or entrepreneur.

This programme is accredited with the professionally-recognised Chartered Management Institute qualification so upon successful completion you will have the option to apply for a CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership as well as your degree. This course is also offered as an ‘Accredited Degree’ by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CiM) meaning students will be able to gain industry-recognised qualifications at an accelerated pace.

This course is offered as a 2-year full-time business master’s programme. Sharing the first year of study with the 1-year Strategic Business Management, the 2-year programme benefits from a second year of Professional Practice that is specifically aimed at fostering the employment opportunities of students. Offering greater flexibility than a traditional Placement year, our Professional Practice Year allows you to decide how to put your skills into practice. Choose between an academic dissertation, business plan, business or consultancy project, or a paid placement in industry, depending on the option that is best suited to your future career path.
