Applied Poultry Science
Entry requirements
A UK 2:1 honours degree, or its international equivalent, in agriculture, veterinary science or a biological science.
We may also consider your application if you have relevant work experience in the poultry industry for 3 or more years. Please contact the programme team to check before you apply. You may be admitted to certificate level only in the first instance.
Regardless of your nationality or country of residence, you must demonstrate a level of English language competency at a level that will enable you to succeed in your studies.
We accept the following English language qualifications at the grades specified:
IELTS Academic: total 6.5 with at least 6.0 in each component.

Course content
This MSc aims to support anyone looking for the skills and knowledge required to meet the needs of the worldwide poultry industry.
An online distance learning programme, it's aimed at students with relevant agricultural and animal-related backgrounds who are keen to acquire in-depth knowledge in applied poultry science.
It's specifically designed to provide a research-led approach to poultry science.
This course is delivered jointly by SRUC and the University of Edinburgh and uses the University’s award-winning online learning environments, which includes video podcasts, web based discussion forums and expert tuition
