Entry requirements
A completed Bachelor's degree in Economics or a closely-related discipline from a research university.
You must have sufficient background in research methods and mathematics (and economics if you took a different degree).
A proficiency in English
In order to take part in this programme, you need to have fluency in both written and spoken English.This requirement has been satisfied when the student meets the conditions, listed on our website.

Course content
The specialisation in Economics, Behaviour and Policy mixes mainstream economic theory with a wide range of other disciplines to explore complex policy issues. It covers econometric questions, along with psychological, cultural, legal and philosophical ones. By improving your insight into complex issues, it will prepare you for designing successful strategies in your future career as a policy maker or consultant. By examining real-world scenarios, you’ll acquire the analytical skills you need to take research results and apply them to a wide variety of problems.

- Understand methods derived from disciplines that include psychology and sociology
- Examine the policy relevance of theoretical insights and give you the tools you need to design policies
