What you'll study
Train in the fascinating area of international relations in this popular Masters. Developed through a global lens, this programme delivered at the University of London Institute in Paris provides a sophisticated theoretical and applied understanding of specialist areas, including globalisation and development, security and US foreign policy.
This International Relations MA analyses the key issues and concepts in world politics. You will conduct a detailed examination and critique of theories of globalisation and assessment of contemporary globalising processes, and how these particularly influence the developing world.
Through seminars, lectures, assessments and group work, you will also pick apart the ways in which violent conflict and the use of force impact on international relations, how force is used by states and other actors, and how force is managed in world politics.
The programme is taught by experienced Queen Mary academics who are leaders in their field. Their intensive teaching will give you the opportunity to network with your peers and academics and experience life on campus at the University of London Institute in Paris. You will also benefit from a dedicated tutor who will guide you through the topics and assignments of each module.
