To join the course, you’ll need to show you meet our English entry requirements. Not to worry, if you can’t find what you need below, speak to our Admissions team, who can find the right way forward for you.

Course content
You’re planning to apply to University in the UK and English isn’t your first language. You’re very nearly there, but you need to boost your English language skills and confidence before starting your course. You also want to study a pre-sessional English course online that’s delivered by a friendly and qualified English Language School – which we are! Depending on your English language level, you will study for 6, 12 or 16 weeks. We’ll let you know which one will be best for you when you apply.

Live Classes
Our online classes are led by our teachers live and are delivered through easy-to-use platforms such as Zoom.
Small class Sizes
When you join one of our Pre-Sessional English courses, you’ll be in a small class of a maximum of 12 students. This way, you’ll be able to receive detailed feedback and tailored support to help you develop in all English skill areas.
A dedicated teacher
Each class has a dedicated teacher who will assess all of your work. We know you sometimes have questions outside of your normal class time, so they are also available to contact outside your live lessons.
Flexible course duration
To offer as much flexibility as possible, we offer three different course length options at 6, 12 or 16 weeks, depending on your current level of English and what you need to achieve for university admission.

You will be given access to Microsoft Teams to share assignments, feedback and materials. You will also have extended study sessions with peers outside the classroom via Microsoft Teams.
Additional study resources
You will have access to your unique guided self-study via Oxford International’s Virtual Learning Campus (VLC) for up to 3 months after the course.
Ongoing assessment and feedback
In addition to a final assessment, you will receive ongoing teacher and group feedback and assessment on your performance to ensure that you stay on track with your goals.
