Entry requirements

Learners admitted to this programme must:

  • Meet individual requirements of specific chosen modules
  • Be currently working with children and young people in a healthcare setting
  • Hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent. Learners who do not have a degree but who have successfully completed level 6 or 7 CPD modules may be admitted to the programme through the Middlesex Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process. This will be at the programme leader’s discretion.
  • Evidence commitment to study, professional development to date, consideration of a coherent study pathway and plans for future professional development and progression.
  • Demonstrate minimum English language requirements. All modules in the programme are delivered in English so IELTS English required with an average score of 6.5 with no less than 6 in a single area.

The aim of the GOSH Learning Academy (GLA) is to ensure all healthcare professionals, receive continual support, education, and specialist training to enhance their skills at every stage of their career in the field of paediatric healthcare.

You can choose to study a standalone module that will increase your knowledge and competence in your specialist area, or to build a selection of modules into a recognised programme such as a Graduate Certificate (GradCert), Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert), Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) or Master’s (MSc), including awards in specialist areas.
