For this course, ideally, we are looking for these qualifications:

• A 2:2 honours degree or above and two or more years of relevant business experience
• Graduate-level professional qualifications.

If you have relevant qualifications or work experience, we may be able to count this towards your entry requirements.

Financial management is an exciting discipline with complex challenges and far-reaching effects in today's global business world.

It offers a vital framework to enable organisations to manage their internal financial affairs in view of their broader national and international business environments. Only with efficient financial management can a business truly survive and grow in a sustainable way.

Combining an in-depth study of theory with essential skills training, you can expect to learn advanced concepts in financial management, ranging from Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) to financial data analysis and the practical ways in which this knowledge is disseminated.

We aim to equip you with theories and methods that are used by businesses worldwide, enhancing your appeal to future employers who look for graduates with relevant credentials.

Our course has a strong emphasis on how to apply financial and accounting skills to the practice of financial management in real-world situations. You'll also receive training in specialist industry standard database systems such as Bloomberg and Datastream, as well as software packages including Stata.
