About Institute for International Management
The Institute for International Management aims to become the leading centre for training and research into the successful management of international organisations across different national contexts.
The Institute for International Management maintains an interest in the comparative analysis of countries’ institutional setups and how diverse national contexts affect economic activity around the world, especially in multinational corporations. Academics from the Institute are currently working on various projects which contribute to this aim, and underpin their ability to deliver an outstanding postgraduate research experience at the forefront of their discipline.
Research opportunities
Research students within the Institute of International Management will experience inspiring teaching from academics who are leaders of research within their area of study. Students have the opportunity to work with them to develop innovative research discoveries. The Institute is actively engaged in international research projects concerning the globalization of economic activity and the implications for patterns of work and governance. It will focus on developing expertise in a range of emerging market economies over the next few years.
