Course content
The Institute for International Management an Entrepreneurship is committed to delivering research that is academically excellent and adds social value by addressing some of the problems facing the world today. This type of research is relevant for all management studies scholars but particularly for those with a research interest in entrepreneurship and innovation.
London is one of the top cities in the world for business, finance and trade, and is a unique learning environment for doctoral researchers within the Institute for International Management an Entrepreneurship to exploit.
The Institute works collaboratively with organisations from several industries and sectors. As well as providing access to primary data from a broad range of sources, these collaborations help to shape the research focus of the Institute and ensure research is delivering impact for industry and society.
Focused on understanding innovation and entrepreneurship in a variety of contexts, the Institute's current research explores how innovation may be harnessed to start, grow, and sustain organisations, and how entrepreneurial behaviour can address social problems in today’s rapidly evolving world.
There is a creative and entrepreneurial culture on campus, which enables students and staff to forge new business plans, grow niche new start-ups and share innovative solutions to business problems.
